: A growing consciousness among the health conscious people:
All over the world, there is a rising demand for ‘Halal’ products as Muslims become more aware of their religious mandate and more sensitive to non-Halal products and have increasing product choices. Even non-Muslims are also averse to taking non-Halal foods or using any product, even medicine, which has a non-Halal component.
In the West, there is a growing Halal Meat industry. Also some States of USA and Canada have adopted legislation for ‘Halal’ marking on edible products. Bangladesh has the biggest or the 4th biggest Muslim population in the world. Due to the halal products demand for Bangladesh made food, cosmetics & drug products. But the concept of Halal goes beyond eatable products, even shoes, leather bags , tooth paste, beauty products, floor cleaner, paints, food dyeing , gelatin capsules and innumerable products are being advertised and sold as ‘Halal’.
Further, we have embarked our company agenda and business portfolio with the at most objective in our business planning to earmark and be a very pragmatic affordable platform for Bangladesh’s product & services in the said global market segment.
